Sponsor a Child

As part of its project in Nakuru, Kenya, FACES has established a sponsorship programme to cater for the educational needs of the children currently registered in the orphanage. FACES is committed to keeping each child in full-time education from the age of 5 till they are of school-leaving age. Moreover we aim to provide these children with further educational opportunities in order to increase their chances of gainful employment. It is only through yourselves, our generous benefactors, that we can ensure the children’s continued education, as school fees are high and without your help these children would not be able to go to school.

The following are the sponsorship opportunities available:

  • Primary School: € 15 a month or € 180 annually
  • Secondary School: € 30 a month or € 360 annually
  • Post-Secondary Training Courses + University Courses:- Specific rates dependent on the course
There is also the option to part-sponsor a child's education. This would mean that you would contribute less than the full sponsorship fee and share the child's sponsorship with one or more other sponsors. If you choose this option you will be asked to contribute € 2.50, € 5,€ 7.50 or € 10 a month towards the child's education.

The sponsorship for each child will cover the following costs; school fees, boarding fees, uniforms and any educational resources as required.

When participating in the programme you will be able to pay your sponsorships either monthly or annually. This may be done by cheque or bank transfer. Upon sponsoring a child you will be sent his/her photo and an information card as well as updates of the child’s progress.
